What is Woodworm Daily?
Woodworm Daily is our own take on Woodworm: a solid 12×11 block of wood with the day’s target shape stamped inside. In Woodworm Daily those protected blocks glow and act as walls, and everything else is waste the worm must eat. Every Woodworm Daily puzzle is deterministic — everyone gets the same shape — so you can compare and share your score.
How to play Woodworm Daily (desktop)
- Move with the arrow keys or WASD. Each step eats one block.
- Eat all the plain wood; never touch the glowing shape.
- Press Z to undo. Use Restart to start the day over.
- Carve fast — your time is your score.
How to play Woodworm Daily on mobile

- The glowing shape is solid — the worm can never enter it, so you can’t ruin the carve.
- Plan your route: concave shapes can trap pockets of waste wood you can’t reach later.
- Your score is your time, so plan an efficient route to carve faster.
- When only a few blocks remain, they pulse so you can spot stragglers in the corners.
- A new shape unlocks at your local midnight. Your progress is saved on this device.
